My friend wanted a chocolate cake with buttercream frosting for her birthday, so I made this cake from the hershey's
website. It was a hit. I made only minor changes, reflected below, but the original can be found at the provided website link.
Ingredients

- 1/4 cup Special Dark Cocoa

baking powder

baking soda

milk

vegetable oil

2 teaspoons
vanilla extract

boiling water
Directions
- Heat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour on 13 x 9 pan.
- Stir
together sugar, flour, cocoas, baking powder, baking soda and salt in
large bowl.
- Add eggs, milk, oil and vanilla; beat on medium speed of
mixer 2 minutes. Stir in boiling water (batter will be thin).
- Pour
batter into prepared pan.
- Bake 40
to 45 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool completely.
