Mom's Warm Slaw

As fall cools off and cabbage is still at the farmers market, try this warm slaw side dish. It is listed below exactly as I received it from my mother. I used apple cider vinegar - 2 tablespoons.
1 Small Cabbage
Vinegar, To Taste
1 Cup Sour Cream
Pepper, To Taste
Salt, To Taste
Shred cabbage and cook until tender (do not brown).
Add sour cream, salt, pepper and vinegar.
