Anything is good, in moderation. I cook because I love to and because I can share with those around me. I crochet for the same reason.

Do what you want to do, enjoy what you do and use it to touch those around you.

Grandma Shrader's Chocolate Mayonnaise Cake

This is a yummy cake.  Using the mayonnaise as a substitue for the oil and eggs used to be a common practice, but now some people just think it is odd - utnil they taste it.

1 Cup Sugar                                                                   2 Tsp Baking Soda
1/4 Cup Cocoa Powder                                                    1 Cup Mayonnaise, DO NOT USE LIGHT
2 Cups Cake Flour                                                           1 Cup Cold Water
  Pinch Salt                                                                       1 Tsp Vanilla

Heat oven to 350.  Mix together all dry ingredients the add mayonnaise, water and vanilla.  Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes.  Pour into a greased and floured 9 x 13 pan.  Bake for 25 to 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Frosting:
Mix 1 - 16 ounce container of White (not vanilla) frosting and 1 - 18 ounce jar of Jif Peanut butter thoroughly and spread on the cake.
