2 Cups All Purpose Flour 1/4
Cup Shortening
3 Tsp Baking Powder 3/4
Cup Milk
1 Tsp Salt
Sift together dry
ingredients. Blend in shortening with
pastry blender or fingertips until mixture remembers course cornmeal. Stirring with a fork, add enough milk to make
a soft dough that can be handled. Turn
onto a floured surface and knead lightly for about 1/2 a minute. Roll or pat to 1/2 inch. Cut with a 2 inch biscuit cutter. Bake for 350 degrees for 12 - 15 minutes.
