1 Cup Sugar 2
Cups Flour
1/2 Cup Shortening 1/4
Tsp Salt
2 Large Eggs 1
Tsp Baking Soda
3 Medium Bananas 1/2
Cup Nuts
Sift flour, salt and
soda together, set aside. Mash bananas
and set aside - you should have about 3 cups.
Cream together sugar and shortening, add beaten eggs. Add bananas to sugar then add all other
ingredients. Add chopped nuts. Divide between 2 – 8 inch bread pans. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour 15 minutes.
